Founded by Lumy Algarin, our studio brings together the vibrant energy of Latin dance with a supportive, inclusive community right here in Raleigh.

Took my first class on Wednesday although ive been going to her social event for a hear now and man do i wish i would have done it sooner. I would be on a totally different level. In ONE class she had me doing a five part dance combination with a partner. Is somehow able to break things down even for someone with two left feet like me. I highly recommend her salsa class to all levels!

My wife and I really enjoy these classes. We’ve done group and private classes in salsa and bachata. We really appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the instructors. Taking videos at the end of each lesson helps us to remember what we learned and practice at homel

I’ve attended private and group salsa classes, as an absolute beginner. While I personally needed a LOT of self-study at home in order to get somewhere with my learning, because dance is really new to my brain and body, Lumy’s in-person training really made the difference in getting me confident enough to dance with my experienced girlfriend at salsa socials and at home. This is my first choice recommendation in Raleigh for in-person learning salsa/bachata! I also really appreciated Lumy’s warmth and interest in my dance journey and what motivated me. I feel like she’s as excited as I am when I am making progress!

We have been taking private lessons with Lumy and highly recommend it! I have been social dancing for years but the private lessons from Lumy have increased my abilities and confidence 100% She is a very helpful and uplifting instructor and we will continue to take her classes

I truly enjoyed my private salsa and bachata classes with Lumi. She is warm, welcoming, and an incredibly skilled teacher who made both me and my partner feel comfortable from the very beginning.
I also love attending her events in different locations—they’re such a fun and supportive way to keep improving our basics while dancing alongside other Latin dance enthusiasts. Highly recommend! 💃

I was part of Lumy’s ladies dance team and had an amazing experience with her as our artistic director! She was patient, kind and supportive! With her instruction and coaching, I was able to perform 3x’s.Two of the performances were local and one at the Atlanta Salsa & Bachata festival! I don’t think I would have ever had the courage to perform if it wasn’t for her! Super grateful for her leadership, teaching skills, kindness, and encouragement through all of it!
